"Galloway is stunning; there is no more beautiful part of Britain, no more beautiful part of the world than the Galloway coast on a sunny day. Places like Kippford and Whithorn and the Mull of Galloway and all these lovely little places, where is nicer? It's a fantastic place, the south west of Scotland." BBC’s Neil Oliver featured in DGB Life.

Dumfries and Galloway is full of interesting places to visit and things to do during your holiday. A single trip is never enough and many visitors return year after year for a relaxing self catering holiday in our “1st Class accommodation”.

During the summer months there is also a Local Tourist Board office located in The Mill on the Fleet. The staff here are very friendly and helpful with lots of useful local knowledge. There is also a shop, cafe and gallery. The entrance to the Mill is opposite the car park in the centre of Gatehouse of Fleet, Galloway just a few minutes walk from self catering Galloway Cottage.
