A delightful Grade 2 listed cottage built in 1786 for the Gatehouse Cotton Mill workers. The town offers the Mill on the Fleet, a visitor centre in the former bobbin mill, which tells the tale of Gatehouse’s cotton spinning days. The town has a small supermarket, chemist, Post Office, cafes and four pubs. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers, climbers, water sports, fishing & art lovers. Gatehouse of Fleet lies on the Solway Firth, in Dumfries and Galloway, a beautiful area to visit.
Upstairs comprises of a double bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with bath & shower. Downstairs has a small lobby, a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge with an open fire. There is a large secure garden to the rear which is perfect for children & ideal for drone flights over the surrounding area. There is on street parking right outside the front door of the cottage.
